Fulfillment In Christ

When we are rooted in God’s Word, we won’t believe the lies the enemy tells us. Instead, we will encourage ourselves with God’s truth. We will cast down vain imaginations and lift up all things that are lovely, true, noble, and praiseworthy. (Philippians 4:8)

We must hold on to what’s right. Because when we choose our Heavenly Father’s truth, we won’t be captivated by the untruths that the enemy hurls our way. We can check his words at the doorstep of our mind and cast them out.

Don’t give the enemy the time of day. Don’t waste one more second, giving credence to his filthy lies and words of condemnation. Rebuke him with the Word of God. (John 8:44)

Stand firm and hold on to God’s unchanging Word. You are worthy of our Father’s love. Choose today and every day going forward to hold on to what lines up with our Father’s truth. When you do, you will find peace, joy, and fulfillment. (Philippians 4:9)

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your words of encouragement. Thank You for being the lifter of my head. Help me to sort out and cast out the lies the enemy has whispered in my ear over the years. Set me free as I abide in You. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
