Faithful Love

We all go through hard times. And when we’re going through a rough season, it’s hard for us not to look over into other people’s lives. What we see from the outside, everything seems to be going well.  But the truth is that we never know what someone else is walking through. We only know what we see on the surface and what they tell us. (Psalms 34:15-19)

What we have to remind ourselves of is that no one is exempt from adversity. We all walk through rough patches. So we have to keep our focus on Jesus and not on other people’s lives. Because they, too, could be facing hardships in their life. 

The great thing is that we all have access to our Heavenly Father. We can approach the throne of Grace and seek the help we need. We don’t have to wish that we’re in someone else’s shoes because they wouldn’t fit anyway. We are all uniquely made. God loves us all. His plans for each of us are to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Look to Jesus. Approach the throne of Grace and find the help you need. You can go before God and petition for His grace, favor, and comfort. He will give you insight, foresight, and discernment. His help, wisdom, and encouragement will lead you into victory. (Hebrews 4:16)

When you pray, believe that our Heavenly Father hears you. Look to Him with an expectation that He will see you through. Behold He is merciful and gracious, and He answers prayers. Hallelujah! Rest in His compassion and abounding faithful love. (Psalms 103:8)

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Help me to keep my gaze upon You. Open my spiritual eyes to see all that you have brought me through and all the wonderful things you do for me every day. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
