Kingdom Agenda

God can make us over if we surrender to Him. We have to sell out to His kingdom agenda ultimately and relinquish our own plans. We have to give all that we are over to our Heavenly Father to allow Him to work through us to do His goodwill. (Hebrews 13:21)

Yes. That’s a scary thought — surrender our complete selves to be put on the Potter’s wheel to be molded into a new person. But what’s more frightening is not being transformed into the likeness of Christ. Then suffering from the consequences of our misdeeds. (Jeremiah 18:1-12)

But we don’t have to suffer. We can allow the Lord to root out everything in us that is not of Him. He wants us to be whole and complete in Him. His plans are for our well-being, not a disaster, and to give us hope and a future. We only need to accept His offer. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Well, the good news is that you don’t have to suffer or remain stuck and wondering why you’re not moving forward — always trying to figure out what’s missing in your life — wondering why there’s a void in your heart that needs to be filled with peace. It seems that you just can’t put your finger on it, but you know something is missing because you don’t feel fulfilled.

Let Jesus put you on His Potter’s wheel. It won’t always feel good, but it’s right for you. However, His hands will comfort you as He holds and molds you. His hands will reshape you as they gently glide over the areas of your life that need a makeover. He will develop you, rubbing out all harmful speech from your lips. He will renew your thoughts. (Romans 12:1-2)

The Good Shepherd will help you to let go of anything you’re holding against anyone else and to walk in forgiveness and love. He will teach you how to let go of any and everything that is not of Him. Jesus can remove all poison out of your life and make you healthy and whole. (John 5:5-9)

Are you ready for a makeover? Are you prepared to be victorious in Christ Jesus and live a life filled with unspeakable joy?

Well, let go and let God. Trust the Potter to make you into the person He’s called you to be. In Jesus’ name, amen!!!

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your goodness. I trust You. I surrender all that I am to You. Make me over for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
