Righteous King

Our adversary, the devil, wants to keep us in a place of self-doubt and confusion. He wants us to keep our focus on everything we’ve done wrong rather than our successes. Satan knows that if we understand and accept God’s truth about who we are in Christ that we will no longer accept the lies he whispers in our ear.  (Romans 8:37-39)

Our Heavenly Father loves us unconditionally. This is an essential truth that we are no longer bound by the enemy when we accept it. Moreover, we realize that the enemy walks around like a roaring lion to keep us in fear. But the keyword in that is “like.” Satan is only an imitation of the King, Jesus, our savior, the Lion of Judah.

Jesus is our righteous King, and there’s none like Him. We can trust in His faithfulness and unconditional love. When we know who we are in Him, there is nothing we cannot overcome. Our mountains seem like molehills. Our waiting period becomes more bearable. The tears we’ve cried become a distant memory all because of our Father’s love, mercy, and grace. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

We don’t have to fight our battles but instead surrender them to our Good Shepherd. He will protect us, guide us, comfort us, and feed us all in the presence of our enemy. In Him, we have all that we need. (Psalms 23)

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Show me Your saving power. Open my understanding so that I know who I am in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

  1. Amen…..Folk need to know that Bible and know the voice God.Thats why it’s important to have a dialogue with our Father. He knows His sheep who are called by His name; know His voice.Remember, the devil use to be an angel…he has all kinds of devices to get us off track. But when you know Jesus..He couldn’t touch you with a 10 foot pole!!!
