Everything We Need

When we go through dark times, we don’t have to let the enemy taunt us because Christ has given us His peace. And when we keep our trust in our Heavenly Father, it allows Him to be everything we need. He is our assurance, and He’s our light. (John 14:27)

We can be reassured that no matter how bad things seem, He will always shine His light in our darkness. His light allows us to see the whole picture and to know that His counsel is incomparable. The enemy knows this, so he wants us to focus more on him so that he can discredit our Savior and rob us of our joy. But when we don’t give our time and energy to the enemy, it causes him to flee. (Micah 7:8-10)

Stand firm in your faith and remain unwavering in your trust in God. The reward is so much greater than anything you can imagine or comprehend. You’ll find rest when you’re weary. You will gain the peace that you seek. And you will experience the unspeakable joy and love of our Heavenly Father. (Ephesians 3:16-20)

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your wisdom. Help me to keep my focus on You and Your goodness. Show me Your strength and faithfulness in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
