His Faithful Love

How often do we mess up and go to a friend in hopes they will understand and empathize with us about our circumstances, and perhaps give us some words of godly wisdom. But then quickly realize that they genuinely don’t understand. And they only offer up their I told you so, if I were you, and you should have done sentiments which only make us feel worse. 

Well. We don’t have to subject ourselves to such torture. We have enough of that from our adversary, Satan, who accuses us before God day and night (Revelation 12:10). And not only that, he continually whispers in our ear to discourage us and make us doubt our Heavenly Father’s love. 

The devil wants us to think what we’ve done is too much for God to forgive and work out. But we can change that because it just isn’t true. We can go boldly to the throne of grace, knowing that God is faithful. We will find mercy and receive grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). 

Let go of uncertainty and fear, and trust that God is who He says He is — I AM — the Eternal Righteous God. There is none other more significant than Him. The Lord will help you and direct your path and lead you out of the darkness. His faithful love will hold you up and guide you to victory. Praise the LORD! (Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ )

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your faithful love. Reveal Your compassion and mercy in my life. Help me to trust You with everything. In Jesus’ name, amen.
