Dwelling Place

When the world around us is in total disarray and feels unstable, our Heavenly Father is a safe place for us to find rest. He is our fortress and strong tower, a symbol of protection from attacks of the enemy. (Psalms 91:1-4)

Moreover, when we turn to God and trust that He is who He says He is throughout Scripture and in our lives, we develop a deeper fellowship with Him. And it’s then that we overcome our fears.

You may be facing difficult circumstances right now, but know that our Father is your safe place. He is Almighty, and you can rest in the shadow of His strength and power. Therefore look beyond your present circumstances and remember who God is. He is bigger and greater than any decision, any health report, any job situation, or any hardship.

Walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Trust in our Father. Turn it all over to Him and place it all in His capable hands, knowing that He is well able to turn everything around for your good.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my place of safety and dwelling place. Help me to take my hands off of my situation and give it all to You. Lead and guide me in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
