Jesus Cares For You

So often, we plan out things in our life without consulting our Heavenly Father, and when things don’t work out as we anticipated, we get angry. We are mad at ourselves, oftentimes at the people around us, and if we’re honest sometimes at God. 

But when we put things in the right perspective, we understand that God is sovereign, and though we make our own plans, the Lord orders our steps (Proverbs 16:9). 

Take a step back and examine yourself honestly. Have your choices led to disappointments in your life? Has unforgiveness and bitterness set up in your heart towards God and others? 

Remember, our Father knows our hearts. We can’t hide anything from Him. But if we want His help and to be delivered from the strongholds that hold us back from living the life God has for us, we must be truthful with Him. 

Move beyond the disappointments and strongholds. Have faith. Trust our Heavenly Father with the pain in your heart. He is close to you (Psalms 34:18). He will bind up your wounds and heal every crack and scar in your heart (Psalms 147:3). 

It’s time to let go of the hurt and pain. It’s time to let go of the disappointment and unforgiveness and step into what God has for you. God will order your steps if you let Him. Allow the healing process to take place, and He will bring you out stronger and better than you were before. 

God will restore your soul and give you peace. He will turn what the enemy meant for evil around for your good (Genesis 50:20). Jesus cares for you. 

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my redeemer. Show me anything that I’m holding in my heart against You and others. Help me deal with my hurt and pain. Let me get rid of all disappointment and unforgiveness that’s holding me back from living the life that You have for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
