Rise Up!

Life can take unexpected turns. Some of which can lead us into a dark place in our life. Miscarriage. Loss of a loved one. Betrayal. Divorce. Loss of a job. Loss of a home. Loss of a friendship. Whatever it is, when we love God and trust in Him, He will help us find our way out of the darkness. 

The enemy, the devil, is a thief, and when he robs us of our joy and peace, our Heavenly Father will always balance the scales. Although we can’t put a price on the people, peace, joy, and some of the things we’ve lost. We can trust God. He will fill us with His goodness of joy and peace and restore all hope (Romans 15:13). 

Sure. Your journey back may be hard, painful, and sometimes it may seem you’re just not going to make it, but hold on, God’s got you. There is nothing too hard for God, and no hurt that He can’t soothe. Therefore, grab hold of our Father’s unchanging hand and allow Him to pull you from the depths of despair that sometimes follow when life doesn’t turn out how you hoped and dreamed. 

Rise up! Emerge from the darkness with a renewed hope and greater love for God because He cares for you. Surrender to Jesus and love Him with your heart, soul, and mind, and you will open the door for endless possibilities that you never dreamed or imagined — things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined (1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:9‬).

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being a God of hope. Please help me to rise up out of the pain and despair that I’ve experienced in my life. Fill me with a renewed confidence and greater love for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
