Source Of Peace

Our feelings can fluctuate based on our external circumstances. And if we zoom in on any or all of the negatives emotions that arise within our heart and mind and then dwell on them rather than dispelling them with the truth of God’s word, we end up on a slippery downward slope. Ultimately that slippery downward slope will lead to despair because negative thinking will eventually rob us of our peace and joy.

No matter where you are in life, if you allow Him, Jesus will be your contentment and source of peace. When you enter into a personal relationship with Christ by faith, you can live with an assurance that He is your provision, protection, and peace.

Don’t be disheartened if you’re going through a difficult time in your life.  Instead, turn your focus from your problem, and recognize that God is with you. He is your helper, refuge, and strength in the time of trouble (Psalms 46:1).

Let go of the what-ifs and what could have been scenarios, and turn to God. Become aware of His awesome authority and power over your life. It’s the awareness of God that will produce peace within your heart, mind, and situation because He is the source of peace. Let go and let God carry the weight of your burden and pain, and then you will know and experience His true peace.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your willingness to carry my burdens. I turn every aspect of my life over to You, trusting that You will lead and guide me into victory. Thank You for filling my heart and mind with Your supernatural peace and joy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
