Source Of Hope

There’s no better place to turn to than our God and His word in moments of trouble because He has promised to help those who turn to Him in times of need (Psalms 46:1).

We can rely on our Heavenly Father because He is faithful who promises, and His word never returns unto Him void but accomplishes what He sets forth (Isaiah 55:11).

God’s word is truth, our road map for life, and a source of hope (Romans 15:4). There’s reassurance in our real Source and knowing that God is for us and not against us. Though we face uphill battles sometimes, we are victorious in Christ Jesus, who is our perfect hope and strength.

If you are weary and tired of disappointment and have grown discouraged because you think that our Father has forgotten about you and your situation, don’t give up. Don’t give in. Hold on to Jesus, who is our Source of hope.

Hope as an action is to anticipate, wait for, or expect. Therefore, in your waiting period, wait with high expectations because God can be trusted. Let go of the negative thoughts and the what-ifs, and press forward having a renewed outlook and anticipate the goodness of the Lord.

If you’re willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land (Deuteronomy 11:27). Remember that God’s timing is not our timing, but His timing is the best timing. He’s got you!

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your sovereign wisdom. Thank you for guiding me through the obstacle course of life. Help me in my waiting period, and give me a renewed hope and strength, and absolute resolve in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, amen.
