Love Amplified

We all have a God given gift that can be used in love to build up His kingdom; listening to or encouraging others, helping hands, or planning and organizing. No matter the gifting, it can be used for the glory of God. 

When we use our talents for God and others, love should be the motivation behind our actions. When we act out of love and not for our own selfish gain, it allows for us to be the hands and feet of our Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Love is amplified and grows as we each do our part and own special work through love because it helps the other parts of the body to grow in Christ. We all become fitly joined together so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. (Ephesians‬ 4:16)

Take a moment to reflect on what gift you have that can be used to glorify God, and serve others so that they are lifted up, healthy and growing. Remember that as we live our day-to-day lives, we fully portray Jesus to others when we serve them in love. 

Prayer: Lord thank You for loving me. Help me to let go of any selfish behavior that does not glorify You. Show me how to serve others in love using the gifts You gave me so that love grows and is amplified in and around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
