Too often, we allow Satan to harass and torment us. We allow him access into our lives by opening the door of our mind and inviting him in. And when we let Satan rule our thought life, it will ultimately overtake us.
See, when Satan whispers in our ear, we oftentimes hold on to his lies rather than rejecting his words. We let our imagination run wild, considering every negative possibility of our situation. We ponder what the enemy has said instead of casting down every vain imagination and bringing it under subjection to Jesus Christ, who can deliver us. (2 Corinthians 10:4-7)
We all have a choice whether or not we live the life God planned for us. We must choose life in Christ over what the enemy has to offer. We have to stand firm against every lie Satan tells us. We can do this by turning everything over to and depend on our Savior, Jesus Christ, to fight our battles. (Genesis 2:16-17)
And we have to remind ourselves daily, sometimes multiple times a day, that the enemy wants to hurt us. He wants to take us out by any means necessary. But we have Jesus, whose more excellent, to help us. (John 10:10)
Remember, we belong to the Most High God, and He will deliver us out of every affliction we encounter. We simply have to trust Him. (Psalm 34:19)
Are you ready to experience freedom in Christ? Well, kick Satan out of your mind. Tell him NO MORE! Satan, you will not rule over my day, circumstances, or my thought life. You are not welcome in any aspect of my life. GET OUT, in the name of JESUS CHRIST, amen!!! (Romans 12:2)
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your goodness. Show me how to experience freedom in You. Teach me how to disregard everything the enemy tosses my way. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
