The Word of God is a solid foundation. When we stand upon it, we can not be shaken. Applying His standards and precepts to our lives is what will ensure that we live a fulfilled life. It’s God’s way only that will lead us to victory. (Matthew 7:24-27)
The path to righteousness is narrow and requires discipline for us to stay on the right track. It’s not easy, but it’s obtainable because Christ is our strength. He has promised to guide and lead us if we surrender our life to Him and His ways. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Living a life based on Christ’s standards doesn’t always feel good, but it’s what is good for us. The enemy will come, and he will tempt us, but we can look to Christ Jesus to help us to always choose His way over the easy and wrong way.
Negative thoughts will come, but we can put those thoughts under the subjection of Christ’s rule and authority. And fix our thoughts on things that are true and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. (2 Corinthians 10:5; Philippians 4:8)
When we accept God’s truth, and when we meditate and ponder on His truth rather than our own or what the enemy drops at the doorstep of our minds, our life will line up with the righteous path God has laid out for us, and He will give us His peace. (Philippians 4:9)
Praise be to God for His righteous truth and His glorious path!
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your righteous standard and precepts that lead to fulfillment and victory. Show me any areas of my life that are not on track with Your moral character. Then show me how to get those areas on track with who You are. In Jesus’ name, amen.
