God wants us to trust Him no matter what circumstances we face in life because He is so much greater than any difficulty we encounter. He’s bigger than any form of fear that tries to take root in our hearts. Yes! The struggle is real, but so is our Father and His faithful promises. (Ephesians 3:20)
God did not give us a spirit of fear but rather one of love, power, and a sound mind. That means we have to let go of worry, anxiety, panic, and dread because those emotions are manifested in our lives by the enemy due to circumstances that we face. (2 Timothy 1:7)
When we choose to hold on to unhealthy emotions, we tell our circumstances that they are more significant than our Heavenly Father. We also permit the devil to bombard us with negative thoughts, which ultimately robs us of our peace and joy. But remember, God’s grace is sufficient and will sustain us. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
If you are bogged down by fear, you can reset and take authority over your emotions with God’s word. It’s not that you are minimizing what you’re going through but rather choosing faith over fear. You are turning your focus to the One who can handle anything and solve any problem. (James 4:7-8)
God is always with you and has promised never to forsake you. He is the Good Shepherd, and He cares for you. His goodness and mercy will cover and keep you always. Allow your cup to overrun with the oil of His Spirit so that His peace reigns in your life. (Psalms 23)
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my Good Shepherd. Lead and guide me. Let Your peace reign in my life and allow my cup to overrun with Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
