Chief Cornerstone

We were not created to endure tough times alone. Therefore, God always sends someone along to help prop us up when we’re struggling, the same as He did for Moses.

Moses found himself commanding a battle from atop a hill, holding up Holy God’s righteous staff. But his arms grew weak, and he lowered his arms. And when he did, the Israelites started to lose the battle. However, Aaron and Hur stepped in, found a stone for Moses to sit on, and then they stood on each side of Moses holding up his hands. (Exodus 17:11-13)

So when you find yourself in a battle and grow weary, like Moses, rest on the Chief Cornerstone, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:20). And don’t be afraid to accept help from those that God sends to assist you. Allow them to prop you up.

When you regain your strength, get up, and move forward by faith, trusting in God. Let your actions be guided by our Heavenly Father while pursuing what He’s promised you. You are well able, so don’t give in and don’t give up. You have authority in Christ Jesus and can do all things through Him that strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13)

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being a solid foundation in my life. When I grow weary, send trusted help to hold me up. And manifest Your faithfulness and glory in my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
