Trust In Him

When we choose to trust God with our whole heart and acknowledge Him in everything we do, He has promised to direct our path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Sure. It can be a little unsettling to say that we are going to turn our hearts over entirely to someone, especially since we all have probably been betrayed on some level by someone we trusted.

One of the hardest things to comprehend is that God’s will is different and more sovereign than ours. So the goal for us is to seek Him above all else to better understand His will for our lives.

Then we won’t walk around with some feeling that God didn’t meet our expectations, so He can’t be trusted. Instead, we will understand that He wants the best for us because we will be on one accord with Him.

God is unlike anyone on earth. He’s not a person that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). He can be trusted. And when we get to know Him on a personal level, we find that He’s faithful to His word. That’s who He is. He’s infallible and trustworthy.

If you haven’t already, choose to trust our Heavenly Father wholeheartedly. Also, acknowledge Him with every decision and all your concerns. It’s then that He can and will fulfill His promise to you that He will direct your path. And you will experience His kingdom and all that it has to offer. He will give you everything you need. Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your goodness. Help me to turn my whole heart over to You. Shift my perspective so that I can see and experience Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
