When we recognize that fear tactics are what our enemy specializes in, we can put fear in its proper perspective — under the subjection of Christ. There is no dilemma too big for Him or nothing that He cannot work out, which means we do not have to give in to fear.
If we don’t turn our fears over to our sovereign God, it will paralyze us and rob us of our peace and joy. Therefore, we have to anchor ourselves in the perfect love that our Heavenly Father gives to us freely. He is perfect love, and perfect love casts out all fears (1 John 4:18).
Trust in God’s faithfulness and His perfect love. Be confident that God is for you and not against you. Lean on the Lord’s understanding and not your own intellect, acknowledge Him in all that you do, and watch Him perform above all that you can imagine (Proverbs 3:5-6).
With God, there are no limits. His wisdom and resources are limitless. Do not force open doors that aren’t meant to be opened. Instead, trust in our Father’s knowledge. He’s always working to open doors that need to be opened for you, and keep doors closed that you do not need to walk through.
Walk in His way and timing, and know that everything will work out for your good (Romans 8:28).
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your faithful and perfect love. Lead and guide me in the way that I should go as I acknowledge You. Keep me in complete peace and rekindle the joy in my heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
