Hiding Place

Trust comes from being vulnerable and allowing someone to show that their actions are consistent with their word. For this reason, we have to maintain a personal relationship with our Lord as our Savior, and our history with Him will teach us that He is trustworthy.

Therefore even though the world around us feels unstable and is filled with uncertainty, our history of being in the presence of our Heavenly Father will lead us to run to Him as a safe place to find safety and rest. Moreover, it builds our confidence and faith that He wants the best for us and will work everything out for our good (Romans 8:28).

God is consistent with His Word, and He can be trusted. So although He might not answer our prayers the way we want Him to or when we want Him to, we can rely on His sovereign wisdom to lead us to victory. (Psalms 71; 71:17)

My friend, your situation may seem hopeless, and you feel helpless, but don’t hold back from trusting God. Allow Him to reveal Himself as reliable and trustworthy in your situation. Let Him be your hiding place and place of rest. He can be trusted to do what’s best for your future. God is trustworthy.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my fortress and place of rest. Remind me of our history and Your faithfulness so that I can trust You with my whole heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
