The twists and turns of life can leave us feeling fearful and uncertain of our future, and that’s when the enemy steps in. He tries to get us off course by making us doubt God and His purpose for our lives.
Satan wants us to believe that God is holding out on us and that God can’t be trusted. But if we take a moment and reflect on the things our Heavenly Father has already brought us through, we realize that God is faithful.
Moreover, we gain a deeper understanding of Satan’s character. Satan is a spiritual thief, and his job is to destroy, steal, and kill everything good thing (John 10:10). He wants to thwart God’s plan and make us believe our Heavenly Father is not who He says He is.
Therefore, we must reject anything our enemy has to say or offer us because he only speaks half-truths and is full of deception. Satan can’t be trusted! (John 8:44)
Perhaps you’ve gotten off course. That’s okay. God allows do-overs. Our loving and faithful Father will help you to get back on track. Seek Him for what you need by seeking His kingdom and His righteousness. Remember, He has promised to give you everything you need. (Matthew 6:33)
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your faithful love. Help me to see through Satan’s schemes in my life. You are the Good Shepherd, and I have all that I need in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
