We can be confident that in our time of trouble, God will rescue us. But so often, we miss His help. Why? Because we expect God to move based on how we perceive things should go. But remember, our ways and thoughts are not that of God. He is sovereign, and His wisdom transcends above anything we can imagine or think. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
When we call out to our Heavenly Father, remember that He will respond based on His righteousness and His glory, not based on our limited viewpoint. We can trust that in His sovereign wisdom, He knows every move of the enemy. And He’s always steps ahead of our adversary, the devil.
Remember, God has a much better vantage point than we do and that of our enemy. Our Creator is Alpha and Omega, and He knows the beginning from the end (Revelation 22:13).
Let’s keep it real. We cannot out-think God, and we definitely can’t say that we know more than He does. So perhaps you didn’t get what you thought was best, but trust God’s wisdom. He will lead you and open the right door for you. He will set all things in order. And when He does, you will know that it was only something that He could do. (Revelation 3:7)
Praise God for His goodness!
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your sovereign and righteous wisdom. Help me not to get out in front of You. As I wait patiently trusting You, equip me with everything I need. And at the appointed time, open the right door for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
