Each day brings its own challenges and can test our faith in God. But He loves us deeply and wants us to trust Him for all that we need. So we must spend time getting to know Him. Because the more we know someone, the stronger the bond and the more trust grows.
Our Heavenly Father promises in His Word that if we seek Him with our whole heart, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). So challenge yourself to spend time in His word each day and let His words strengthen and encourage you. Let all that He has to say penetrate your heart. Ask Him to speak to you and reveal to you His truth. And you will find that He’s all that you need.
God is the same yesterday, today, and always (Hebrews 13:8), so we can depend on Him. He doesn’t ask us to figure things out on our own. He simply asks us to trust Him. So when we recognize His sovereign wisdom and allow Him to lead and guide us, He will make our pathway straight (Proverbs 3:6).
Remember, as our fellowship grows with God, we experience the fullness of all He has for us. We find joy and contentment in knowing that He listens to us, and His plans for us are for our well-being, and not disaster (Jeremiah 29:11).
Prayer: Lord, thank You for never changing. Help me to face life each day as I trust You. Open my heart to Your truth as I fellowship in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
