Loving Arms

When we face an overwhelming challenge with what seems like impossible odds, sometimes it’s easy for us to lose focus and give up. But when we realize who we are in Christ and understand that we can do all things through Him, it makes the struggle seem easier. (Philippians 4:13)

When we make the Lord our ultimate source of protection, honor, and restoration, we will find true peace and contentment. We also develop an absolute resolve in the strength and might of our Heavenly Father. We come to realize that He is who He says He is — our Mighty King and Comforter. (Psalms 3)

You may be facing a difficult situation or be suffering from grief, but know that Jesus loves you. He is Your strength in your weakness, and His grace is sufficient so that you are made strong in Him (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

Surrender your will and let His will be done in Your life. Sure. It can be scary when we surrender control to someone. But our Heavenly Father is not just someone. He is the creator of the universe, and He sustains it all, which means He will support you if you allow Him to. Lean into our Heavenly Father’s loving arms, and your burden will be light, and you’ll find rest for your weary soul (Matthew 11:28-30).

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my strength and sustainer. Let Your will be done in my life. As I trust You, give me Your peace and restore my joy in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
