When we face difficulties, we must remember that God is not distant from our pain. He’s our comforter. And the best way to overcome difficult circumstances is to realize who our God is and that He’s bigger and greater than anything we will ever face.
While it’s difficult to understand within our human intellect that God wants the best for us, He reveals His great love and care to our spirit. When we tap into His love, we can be confident of who we are in Christ. We find contentment no matter our circumstances, and we discover the secret of living in every situation. We become overcomers and victorious, knowing that we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:11-13)
Today you may be facing a difficult situation or hard decision, but remember that the Lord is with you. He is your protection, dwelling place, and refuge. You can trust Him. He is right there with you. Remember, He always has been and always will be. (Psalms 91:1-3)
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my dwelling place. Help me to trust in You. Reveal to me the secret of living in every situation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
