If we allow ourselves to be consumed with the uncertainties and challenges of life and striving to “make it,” we’ll miss the goodness of the Lord.
Worrying won’t improve our situation. It only causes us unnecessary stress. And the things in life that are really worth having are the things that money, prestige, and power can’t buy — love, family, true friendship, and good health.
Stop! Turn your focus from self-fulfillment. Allow God to lead you. It will save you plenty of money, time, and energy. He is your way maker, and He will get you where you need to be in His timing (Isaiah 43:18-19).
Our Heavenly Father will open doors that you haven’t been able to open, and He will link you up with the people and resources that you need. Seek Him above all else and get in His word, it is a lamp for your feet and a light on your path (Psalms 119:105).
Understand that when we do things God’s way and give thanks, He will connect the dots in our situation, and put us on a path of victory (1 Corinthians 15:57-58).
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your perfect will being done in my life. You are good. Show me my path and open the right doors in my situation. Help me to focus on You so that I don’t miss out on your goodness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
