Godly wisdom is divine insight concerning how we should live and what brings success in every area of our lives. Having godly wisdom provides us with answers and solutions to problems that we face throughout this journey of life.
When we go to our Heavenly Father for counsel and insight concerning how we should live our daily life, and consistently apply His solutions, we develop good judgment and receive His protection (Proverbs 4:5-7). We will discover the good plans He has for us (Proverbs 29:11). We will find success.
Godly wisdom, along with godly understanding is vital. Success in life evades many people because of their inability to learn and adjust over time based on the accumulation of information and situations the Lord has helped them through.
Don’t allow Satan, our enemy, to rob you of what God has for you because you refuse to surrender all that you have and all that you are to our Heavenly Father. If you lack wisdom in any area of your life, ask our generous God for wisdom, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking (James 1:5). God is for you and not against you. Allow Him to counsel you, lead you, and set you free.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being a generous God. Show me all areas in my life that I lack Your godly wisdom. Give me the answers and solutions I need and help me apply them so that I might be set free and find success. In Jesus’ name, amen.
