Surrender

When things don’t make sense it’s okay to trust God. He has your back. He will ensure that you make it through whatever it is that’s causing you discomfort and pain. 

God did not create you to carry strongholds around for ten, twenty, or even forty years — like the children of Israel who wandered in the wilderness for forty years because of their disobedience, lack of trust in His ability, and surrendering to His will. 

You don’t have to struggle to survive. You don’t have to walk around in emotional distress feeling hopeless and worthless because God has promised you a full life in Christ, our Savior (John 10:10).

If you are not experiencing the abundant life that Jesus Christ freely gives, it is time to let go and overcome your strongholds. Lift your head up and know that God is in control of all things. He is watching over the entirety of your life.

Prayer: Lord reveal to me the areas where I’m lacking trust and the strongholds that have me bound. Show me the areas in my life that I’m disobedient to Your will. Help me to learn how to see past my sorrow and pain, and to view my life from Your vantage point. In Jesus’ name, amen.
